The unit circulates chilled water through the garment while applying gentle, intermittent compression. It can also run warm rather than cold, which most hire machines cannot do.
Your physio, doctor or surgeon decides whether cold, warmth or compression suits your situation, and how often to use it. We set the machine up to match what they have asked for.

We check the machine suits you, fit the right garment, set the temperature and pressure, and show you how to run it.
Use it as we have shown you. Ring us any time if something is not working the way you expect.
Drop it in during opening hours. Billing stops at the end of that week. There is no lock-in and nothing to cancel.

No. Anyone can hire it. You do not need a referral and you do not need to be seeing us for anything else.
Most places that hire these machines make you take a fortnight. If you only need a week, you only pay for a week.
Not sure it is for you? Book thirty minutes in the clinic and use the same machine, with no hire and no commitment. You do not need to be a patient for that either.
Cold and compression does not suit everyone. Please check with your doctor, surgeon or physiotherapist first if any of the following apply to you.
Numbness or reduced feeling in the area, a circulation problem, peripheral vascular disease, or Raynaud's.
A known cold allergy or cold hypersensitivity, or diabetes with nerve damage.
An open or infected wound at the site, or a current or suspected blood clot.
Tell us about any of these at the fitting appointment, along with any recent surgery. Stop using the machine and contact us or your doctor if you get pain that does not settle, numbness or tingling that stays, or skin that turns white or blue.
As long as you need it. After the first week it rolls on week to week, and it stops when you bring it back.
The minimum is one week, so a few days is charged as one week at $130. That is still less than the fortnight most hire companies require.
Eight garments: shoulder, back, lower back, arm, elbow, knee, leg and ankle. They are all included in the hire.
